Ronald Gorevic, violin, has played recitals in many of the major U.S. cities, including Cleveland, Chicago, Atlanta and New York, as well as in his native London, England. He has appeared on Lincoln Center's Great Performers Series with the Prometheus Piano Quartet, and has recordings on the Crystal, Centaur, and Koch International labels. He has been principal viola of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra for over twenty years, and teaches at UMass Amherst and Smith College.
Beth Welty, violin, is a founding member of the Springfield Chamber Players, and acting principal second violin in the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. She has performed at Lincoln Center with the Boston Quartet, is concertmistress of the Nashua Chamber Orchestra, and has performed with numerous orchestras in the Boston area, including the Boston Classical Orchestra, the Handel and Haydn Society, and the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra.
Dolores Thayer, viola, has taught at Amherst College and participated in numerous music festivals including Tanglewood, Norfolk, and Spoleto, Italy. She has also performed at the Kennedy Center, Alice Tully Hall, and the University of Southern California. She has been assistant principal viola in the Springfield Symphony Orchestra for over thirty years.
Yoonhee Ko, cello, a prize winner in a young artist competition, performed Tchaikovsky's Rococo Variations with the Boston Pops Orchestra under the baton of Keith Lockhart. She is currently a member of the Springfield and Hartford Symphony Orchestras, and serves as program coordinator for Sonido Musica. She has degrees from Yale School of Music and Boston University.
